StarLink
- Higher speeds
|
Self installation. Antenna must be aimed
at the northwest sky at about a 60 degree
angle. It will work just setting the dish on
the end of north side finger. Service is
more dependable, though, if the dish is
mounted so that the dock roof does not
obstruct any part of the northern exposre up
to vertical.
We have StarLink, and it is exceptional. There’s a long wait to get residential StarLink, but you can get an RV version almost immediately. Monthly price is $159 compared to $120 for residential, and service has lower priority if bandwidth gets tight. Initial costs: Standard - $599, RV - $599; plus $50 shipping plus taxes |

Installation
and Service
Mike Overstreet - 501-545-8603 - mr.satellite@ymail.com - mistersatellite.comHughesNet representative. He works on DirecTV, and I think, Dish installations too. Mike was the only one of three satellite companies I contacted in late June and early July of 2015 that actually showed up. The other two were no-shows without any warning, and they refused to respond to phone, text or email. Mike has installed a new dish for me and HughesNet satellite internet for Gallen Stokes (B97). Mike says that he will even come out on weekends if he doesn't have other jobs scheduled. In fact, he did an installation on Galileo dock on the Sunday after my Friday installation. |
